With Black Panther movie in theaters, actor Michael B. Jordan appears as the latest guest of Complex’s Sneaker Shopping series, stopping by Stadium Goods in NYC.

During the episode, the actor recalls his love for Timberland boots while growing up in New Jersey, before talking about him being able to cop grails like the Nike HyperAdapt and the Tom Sachs x Nike MarsYard.

Later, Jordan explains why he wears Air Jordan 1s so much and how he was able to sneak in some sneaker culture into Black Panther. “[Director Ryan Coogler] is always finding things here and there that a younger generation of millennials are going to pick up on. We tried to drop some gems here and there that people will definitely notice,” he explains.

In the end, Jordan drops nearly $4,300 on Air Jordans and Nikes. Watch the episode up top to see what he cops.
