In addition to TDE is sending 1,000 kids to see Black Panther, T.I. is doing the same for fans in Atlanta.
TIP recently teamed up with Walmart to give away 300 tickets to unsuspecting fans for the Atlanta premiere of Marvel’s highly anticipated film.
Me and @Walmart joined efforts to support the community with free tickets for customers to attend an Advance Screening of @MarvelStudios @theblackpanther. We gave away 300 tickets to deserving families yesterday at the Cascade Walmart store. #BlackPanther pic.twitter.com/S74W8x4Ai9

In a post on Twitter, the rapper announced his desire to give back to the community by offering up free tickets to “deserving families” for an advanced screening of the movie. The giveaway took place at the Cascade Walmart store in Atlanta.
Tip is among several other entertainers who feel it necessary for young black children to witness others that resemble themselves in superhero roles without the burden of financial restraint. Octavia Spencer and Ellen DeGeneres have also joined the cause.
The hashtag #BlackPantherChallenge began trending on social media after its creator, New York’s Frederick Joseph, started a GoFundMe in an effort to raise money for black youth to see the film.
Black Panther is in theaters now, and is expected to easily top the weekend box office.
