Nike has launched its Makers of the Game space in Los Angeles, an experience the brand erected in celebration of NBA All-Star 2018.
Nike invited us out to the space on Thursday (Feb. 15) to be among the first to check out Makers H.Q., which features multiple areas — including a customization station, retail space and basketball court.
Inside, we experienced the Makers Space, a designated customization workshop highlighting special design sessions around the Nike 90/10 Pack, which fans can pick to make a pair of kicks their very own… with help from the Nike team.
There’s also the Makers Retail Experience, where exclusive Nike product launches daily throughout All-Star Weekend.
Finally, there’s the Makers Court, a full basketball court that will feature exhibition basketball games, programming and drop ins from Nike athletes. On Thursday after, for example, Kobe Bryant stops by for a talk with Jalen Rose.
Others to drop in on the first day includes Elena Delle Donne, Eric Koston, Sean Wotherspoon, Edison Chen and Aaron Kai.
