Def Jam Signs Dallas Rapper Bobby Sessions
Dallas native Bobby Sessions has signed with Def Jam Records, just three years after making his debut on the rap scene.
The rapper took to Twitter last week, announcing the signing with a photo of himself next to the iconic Def Jam logo. He also briefly detailed how he quit his job with only $50 in his bank account to pursue a career in music, while also thanking label CEO Paul Rosenberg for the opportunity.
2015 was my first year after leaving my job with $50 in my bank.
3 years later I signed a deal with @DefJamRecords through @HighStandardzTX.
Thank you @rosenberg.
