Over the weekend, Chris Brown shook the foundations of social media when he took to Twitter to propose a dream world tour.
“Just thinking…. A CRAZY WORLD TOUR would BEYONCE, RIHANNA, BRUNO MARS, CHRIS BROWN. ‘2 for 2’. And if y’all decide to do it without me… give me 10%,” Breezy tweeted on Friday (Feb. 9).

This tour would be nothing less than amazing, especially with each of the decorated superstars having had their own successful individual tours — i.e., “Anti World Tour,” “Formation World Tour,” “24K Magic World Tour,” and even “The Party Tour.” While Brown has yet to collaborate with either Yoncé or Bruno, the charismatic singer dated and collaborated with Riri multiple times in the past.
Although many showed their immense excitement for the idea, others were not too… well, keen on this idea. After seeing the post, people immediately came for Brown without hesitation, questioning why he would even mention his own name alongside the others.
Y’all really gonna come on this app and lie and say that Chris Brown is in the ranks of Beyoncé, Bruno, and Rihanna… pic.twitter.com/YesZr53H2n

Chris Brown really put himself in the same league as Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Bruno Mars pic.twitter.com/LJbnT36gjl

Rihanna is a full-out mogul. Beyoncé is hailed as the greatest living entertainer by legends. Bruno has done with 3 albums what Chris Brown still hasn’t achieved after 8. Are you trying to drag him yourself or are you really this delusional? https://t.co/ao5wa3AxRd

Some may feel this way because of him mentioning of his ex-girlfriend Rihanna on the nine-year anniversary of the 2009 brutal assault on the singer. Others also simply pointed out the fact that they simply felt Brown’s celebrity and artistry has substantially decreased over the years. In other words, many believe Chris is not on the same level or wavelength as the other named artists.
Regardless of the noise on social meda, Chris has been booked and busy with many collaborations. He has recently worked with Remy Ma on her “Melanin Magic” record and even teamed with King Combs for a collaboration titled “Love You Better” track. If that’s not enough, Breezy is prepping a joint mixtape with Jacquees and even a collaboration with Rich the Kid.
