Anyone who’s still awaiting a project from Jay Electronica has a chance to see the Roc Nation signee perform live on-stage during his recently announced tour.

The rapper/producer revealed an eight-city tour on Instagram, which launched in Chicago on Feb. 1. The tour continues with stops in Philadelphia, San Francisco, Santa Ana, and Atlanta. He’s also scheduled to play Buku Festival in his hometown of New Orleans and the Governors Ball in New York City.

The lone ranger lyricist made reference to his often “in the dark” persona through an Instagram post writing, “To quote the great PARTYNEXTDOOR… Come and see meeee for once.”

Despite the tour run, a release date is still unknown for his long-awaited project. Electronica has consistently teased his first full-length album, Act II: Patents of Nobility, for nearly a decade now.

Electronica last surfaced on KMD’s single “True Lightyears” back in August. He also released “Letter to Falcon” last summer, a song inspired by Kevin Durant’s stellar performance in the NBA Finals.
