Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner are massive stars, but when it comes to selling beauty products, Rihanna has their number.
According to WWD, Riri’s Fenty line is on pace to surpass Kylie Beauty and Kim’s KKW lines in revenue.
Via research from Slice Intelligence, Kylie Cosmetics had the highest yearly sales, but Fenty’s sales in its first month were five times that of Kylie Cosmetics and 34 percent more in its second month.
Kylie’s line had $420 million in retail sales in 18 months, reported last year, while Kim’s KKW was projected to move more than $14 million, just minutes after its launch.
So far, projections for Rihanna’s Fenty line have not been released, but they are big.
Fenty Beauty attracts a more diverse customer, reaching more African-American and Hispanic consumers than any of the other brands mentioned.
