Post Malone is enjoying major success with his new hit “Rockstar”, which currently sits at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. But, stirred up some controversy recently, via comments in a recent interview.
While speaking with GQ, the rapper stated that he feels like it’s been a “struggle” for him as a white rapper.
“I definitely feel like thereās a struggle being a white rapper,” Post Malone said. āBut I donāt want to be a rapper. I just want to be a person that makes music. I make music that I like and I think that kicks ass, that I think the people who f*ck with me as a person and as an artist will like.ā
āIt should just be music, you know?” he later added.
His comments didn’t go over well with fans. On social media, they went after Posty.
One wrote: āStop making rap music if itās so hard for you.ā
