Nike has just unveiled its late innovation in running, its new runner: the Epic React Flyknit.
The shoe boasts a new foam React cushioning, which will replace the usual EVA foam.
Before delivering to market, the new technology was tested for a total of 17,000 miles by Nike’s best runners. It is lighter, softer and offers greater “energy return” than the first model, the Lunar Epic 2.
The Epic React Flyknit features a one-piece Nike Flyknit bootie upper, engineered for support, flexibility and breathability where it’s needed the most.
Both the midsole and outsole are a single piece of Nike React foam, with rubber underneath for grip and traction.
The Nike Epic React Flyknit drops Feb. 22 at Nike.com.
