The Sabot Group were recently afforded a tour of Japan unlike your typical tourist excursion. Thanks to famed photographer Estevan Oriol, who acted as a guide and documented with his camera, we get a look at Japan’s street cultures.
During the trip, Sabot and company were exposed to the country’s love for Los Angeles style, their traditional tattoo heritage, and of course, the car culture. They visited the Homies car club, which is said to have around 100 members and is likely the biggest in the country, while also cruising the streets in their impressive fleet of lowriders.
Sabot and Oriol also got to experience a bit of the country’s popular drifting culture at the Ebisu Circuit, designed by drift driver Nobushige Kumakubo in the Fukushima countryside.
