Looks like Lil Uzi Vert isn’t very happy in his label situation with DJ Drama.
The popular Philly rapper is signed to Drama and Don Cannon’s Generation Now label, via Atlantic Records, and apparently, there’s some sort of issue that spilled onto social media.
On Friday (Jan. 12), Lil Uzi Vert took to Twitter and indirectly dissed DJ Drama. “If y’all do sign … sign 2 a major Dont sign 2 a rapper or a Dj… Its Just Easier When The Time Come For That Fake Sh*t,” Uzi Vert wrote.

Drama would responded directly to the tweet, writing: “Lets state the facts and see who REALLY on some fake sh*t.”

Uzi responded again, saying he was simply giving advice to his fans.

The rapper signed to Drama’s label back in 2015. This isn’t the first time he’s expressed frustration in the situation. In December, he publicly revealed his dissatisfaction with his label. “We all make mistakes 2 get better,” he tweeted. “I should have never signed but I finna turn all this sh*t upside down ..you know the way it suppose to be.”
