Adidas announced this week the official release of its sought-after high performance running shoe, the Futurecraft 4D.
The sneaker is unique in that it features midsoles made with light and oxygen using Digital Light Synthesis.
The Futurecraft 4D is a fruition of adidas Futuercraft, the brand’s journey to revolutionize the future of craftsmanship… that was introduced with 3D-printed sneakers back in Fall 2015.
The sneaker was first unveiled in April 2017 as a proof of concept in limited numbers, strictly for friends and family.
Now, the Adidas Futurecraft 4D launches on Jan. 18, in New York City area, paying tribute to the city where the partnership with CARBON was first announced. They will drop at Consortium retailers KITH, Packer, and SNS for $300 USD.
