Marijuana users got some good news to start off the year, when it became fully legal for recreational use. With that said, can we now legally smoke at Coachella?

Nope. Organizers behind the festival aren’t changing their festival rules.

“Mariuana or marijuana products aren’t allowed inside the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in 2018 and beyond,” their website reads.

Also, as noted by TMZ, the city of Indio — where Coachella takes place — doesn’t allow the sale, cultivation or distribution of cannabis. Under the new law, each city decides whether to allow recreational weed sales… and Indio does not.

Coachella 2018 takes place from April 13-15 and April 20-22 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
