Jay-Z is set to appear on the first season of David Letterman’s new Netflix series, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman — an hour-long program featuring interviews with the guests inside the studio and abroad.
The 70-year-old retired from his famed CBS late-night program Late Show with David Letterman in 2015, where he served as a host for 22 years, after which Jimmy Fallon took over.
My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman on Netflix is Letterman’s first return to hosting his own program, and begins with six episodes for the first season.
In addition to Jay-Z, former U.S. president Barack Obama will be his first guest, followed by social activist Malala Yousafzai, actor George Clooney, actress Tina Fey and broadcaster Howard Stern.
The first episode premieres Jan. 12 on Netflix.
