Former United States president Barack Obama kept up his annual tradition of sharing his favorite book and song lists for 2017. This year, Obama included Kendrick Lamar’s “Humble”, SZA’s “Broken Clocks”, and Jay-Z’s “Family Feud” among his favorite songs for the year.

Obama is a noted hip-hop enthusiast, who in the past, has posted about listening to Outkast on social media and teamed up with numerous rappers, including Kendrick and Chance the Rapper for the 2016 “My Bother’s Keeper” initiative.

“During my presidency, I started a tradition of sharing my reading lists and playlists. It was a nice way to reflect on the works that resonated with me and lift up authors and artists from around the world,” Obama wrote on social media. “With some extra time on my hands this year to catch up, I wanted to share the books and music that I enjoyed most.”
