A tattoo artist who has inked a number of NBA stars has filed a lawsuit against 2K Games for using his work in NBA 2K without his permission.
According to TMZ, Cleveland-based James Hayden claims in his lawsuit that he owns the copyrights to several designs he inked onto stars like LeBron James and Tristan Thompson.
He says that his designs were featured in NBA 2K16, 2K17 and 2K18. And, he now wants a portion of profits from the sale of the titles mentioned.
It’s unclear if 2K Games has responded to the lawsuit just yet.
