After enjoying huge success in both entertainment and fashion, Diddy wants to tackle sports… by buying the Carolina Panthers.
Following recent reports of misconduct allegations by Carolina Panthers owner Jerry Richardson, the hip-hop mogul took to social media and expressed his interest in buying the team.
I would like to buy the @Panthers. Spread the word. Retweet!

Richardson announced that he will sell the NFL franchise at the end of the 2018 season.
Diddy now wants to “make history”.
“There are no majority African American NFL owners. Let’s make history,” he tweeted.
If Diddy does, in fact, become owner, he has declared that his first order of business will to sign former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who’s been blackballed by the NFL.
Panthers fan and Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry tweeted his support for Diddy’s bid, adding that he wants in on the action.

Despite Diddy’s wealth, NFL franchises aren’t cheap. According to Forbes, the Panthers team is valued at $2.3 billion.
