The last person you’d think would say LeBron James is right up there in NBA history greatness with Michael Jordan is MJ’s former Chicago Bulls teammate Scottie Pippen.

During an appearance on ESPN First Take this week, Scottie was asked to weigh in on the long-talked about LeBron-Michael Jordan debate… and apparently, he feels James is right here.

“The numbers don’t lie,” Pippen said. “He’s right there. He probably will never catch him in terms of MVP, but in terms of statistics, LeBron is right there. And when you look across the board — not just scoring — check his assists, check his rebounds… he’s probably ahead of Jordan.”

Shocking, right? Well, First Take host Stephen A. Smith was shocked too… and it led to a heated debate that lasted beyond the episode. See that below.
