Talk of a Manny Pacquiao-Conor McGregor fight started earlier this week, after the Filipino boxer said he has discussed the potential fight with the UFC superstar.
Now, Dana White is saying if this is true, he plans to sue Pacquiao and his team.
Pacquiao reportedly told Sky Sports that his team has reached out to McGregor and started the talk… but added that there “have not yet had any follow-up conversations.”
According to ESPN’s Brett Okamoto, Pacquiao directly negotiating with McGregor would be illegal since McGregor is under contract wit the UFC. So, if true, a lawsuit would be forthcoming.
“That would be weird, because he’s under contract with us,” White reportedly said, when told of McGregor directly negotiating with Pacquiao. “If that’s true, I’ll be suing Manny Pacquiao and whoever’s representing him.”

White says McGregor’s next fight will be in the Octagon, but if a potential fight with Pacquiao could bring in anywhere close to the same payday as his fight with Floyd Mayweather… who’s going to say no?
There would likely have to be a lot more discussion, so it’s unclear if it would actually happen.
What do you think? Would you tune in for a fight between Manny Pacquiao and Conor McGregor?
