Although we thought it was over pretty quickly, the beef between Cam’ron and Mase continues.
After Mase dropped a diss track, which appeared to come out of nowhere, the two seemed to end the feud it by exchanging a few comments on social media and a response track. Then, Cam appeared on The Breakfast Club and discussed the beef, while throwing a few jabs.
This week, Mase decided to tell his side of the story by stopping by Power 105 in NYC to talk to Angie Martinez.
He first said the situation is “going to turn terribly bad, and it’s not going to turn terribly bad for me.” But then added that “The spirit of the song is I’m a grown man. Whatever happened when we were 19, grow up. Anybody should understand that. Whatever we went through at 19, 20, or even 21, grow up.”
Mase went on to explain how he’s turned the other cheek in numerous instances of Cam going at him in the past… until he couldn’t ignore it any longer. When Angie finally asked how this situation ends, he declared: “I told you how it ends. If it doesn’t stop it’s gon’ end bad for him.”
While in Cam’s interview, he didn’t really seem to hold any real animoisity toward, Mase seems extremely bothered. “Really I ain’t have nothing else to say. I said what I needed to say. He went on the radio and said what he needed to say. I go on the radio and say what I have to say. It could stop there or it don’t have to,” he explained, before calling Cam his “enemy” for 20 years.
