Kanye West has been hit with a new lawsuit over his YEEZY Season line.
According to The Fashion Law, the rapper has been sued by Dde Sourcing owner Derya Gulseven over unpaid commission payouts for the YEEZY Season’s 2-4 collections.
The firm is seeking $228,000 for their collaboration with West Brands, which launched in 2015 in anticipation of YEEZY Season 2 that following May.
Gulseven claims she was cut from the first deal for YEEZY Season 2 garments in 2016, and lost her 7 percent commission, totaling $87,000. Despite the dispute, she continued to work with West Brands for YEEZY Season 3, where she received only partial payment of her full commission, and YEEZY Season 4, where she says she wasn’t compensated at all.
Dde Sourcing is an apparel and textile firm based in Instanbul that specializes in “new generation sourcing, buying, and manufacturing solutions.” The company was involved specifically in YEEZY Season, separate from Kanye’s YEEZY footwear and clothing released through West’s partnership with Adidas.
As of press time, neither Kanye West nor Gulseven have responded to comments on the matter.
