With the L.A. Auto Show underway, Land Rover introduces the upcoming 2018 Range Rover SVAutobiography.
Updated from the 2017 edition, the new SVAutobiography features a 557hp, 5.0L supercharged V8 engine, which is paired to a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission, allowing it to zoom from 0-60 mph in 5.2 seconds.
Inside, Land Rover gives the new Range Rover updates for comfort. It features “executive class” rear seats, with deep seat foams that include comfort interlayers for enhanced passenger comfort. The seats also feature powered 40-degree recline capability, a hot stone massage function, heated calf and foot rests, and 22-way adjustment. In between, there’s a fixed center console tjat extends the full length of the rear cabin and acts as the hub for the second row with controls for the power close rear doors, electronically deployable tables, and a refrigerated compartment that can fit four 20oz bottles or two 750mL bottles and two glasses. Finally, two 10-inch integrated rear entertainment screens and 4G WiFi connectivity allow passengers to stay connected.
In the front row, front and center is the InControl Touch Pro Duo infotainment system with twin 10-inch touchscreens.
The 2018 Range Rover SVAutobiography will be hand-finished at the SVO Technical Center in Warwickshire, UK, while debuting at the L.A. Auto Show.
