2017 has been an amazing year for TDE songstress SZA. Just this year alone, she not only released her debut album, Ctrl, but has performed at various award shows, sold out her first headlining tour, and accomplished several other accolades. She went gold with her Travis Scott-assisted "Love Galore" single and platinum with "The Weekend," both top hits from Ctrl.

SZA is now taking her talents to the Saturday Night Live as musical guest for the very first time ever.

On the show's Dec. 9 episode, which will be hosted by James Franco, the TDE songstress will make her official SNL debut.

The celebrations are just getting started for SZA though, after she nabbed five Grammy nominations. The TDE camp nabbed 12 nominations in all, with Kendrick Lamar getting seven himself.

SZA is currently touring overseas with Bryson Tiller for his "Set It Off Tour." It will end in Dublin on Nov. 30. From there, she will resume the "Ctrl Tour" on Dec. 8 in Norfolk, continuing through Dec. 17 in St. Louis.
