KAWS x Air Jordan 4 Black Cyber Monday

The anticipated black colorway of the KAWS x Air Jordan 4 dropped on Cyber Monday, and it’s likely, many are planning to resell. However, you’re not supposed to.

Apparently, there’s a legal clause on KAWS’s website that says buyers cannot purchase the hyped sneaker in an effort to profit from them.

On the website’s terms page, it says purchases are for personal use only.

“You may purchase products only for personal use and not for resale,” the site reads. “By placing your order, you certify that you are purchasing products for personal use only and not for resale. We reserve the right to refuse orders for any reason without explanation.”

It’s unlikely this will stop anyone from reselling the sneaker though, being that it will be nearly impossible to police the internet.

Furthermore, the “for personal use only” clause appears to be on KAWS’s website permanently and not just added for this launch.

The resell price for the black KAWS x Air Jordan 4 will likely be very high. The first pair, which came in grey earlier this year, retailed for $350 and now goes for around $1,500 on the secondary market.

Did you score a pair? Are you keeping or reselling?
