Following the release of the limited Vanquish S Ultimate, Aston Martin reveals next year’s iteration of the Vantage.
Here’s a first look at the 2019 Vantage.
The new two-door features bonded aluminum panels, a “three-stage adaptive-damper system,” an overall larger build, a new approach to the traditional Vantage headlights, clamshell hood sans air vents, and rear LED lights connected with a single “central light bar” just to name a few.
Aston Martin chief designer Miles Nurnberger says the new Vantage will offer “aerodynamic stability” at even its highest speeds. But, it is 10.8 inches shorter than the DB11, coming in at 175.8 inches.
Under the hood is an AMG-constructed 4.0-liter V8, paired with a manual seven speed transmission, allowing it to produce 503 horsepower and 498 lb-ft of torque. It zooms to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds and has a 195 mph top speed.
The 2019 Aston Martin Vantage will start at $153,081 USD.
