Ex-All Star David Lee Announces NBA Retirement

Two-time NBA All-Star David Lee is retiring from the league after 13 years.

The 34-year-old announced his decision on Instagram over the weekend. Apparently, he celebrated his retirement with family and friends.

"An epic night celebrating my retirement," Lee wrote, adding that his fiancee planned the evening.

Lee played for 13 seaesons in the NBA, beginning his career in New York, before playing several seasons with the Golden State Warriors. He also played in Boston and Dallas, with his final season taking place in San Antonio.

Lee is a two-time All-Star and was named to the All-NBA Third team in 2013. He finishes his career with averages of 13.5 points, 2.2 assists and 8.8 rebounds a game.

He also became an NBA champion in 2015.

Lee recently announced his engagement to tennis star Caroline Wozniacki.
