Limited merch becoming more and more hyped in recent years, with brands dropping one-off pieces that almost impossible to cop. With that said, some unofficial drops have been making noise.
During the 2017 ComplexCon show in Long Beach, Calif., some N.E.R.D. fans were able to cop exclusive merch that sold out before general admission ticket holders were even able to get inside.
So, one fan — upset he/she was able to get their hands on the merch — takes matters into their own hands, creating a bootleg tee that is “inspired by the lack of availability of merchandise released at ComplexCon 2017”.
Designed for N.E.R.D. fans, the white T-shirt features the group’s classic logo, as well as other significant symbols. Underneath is a that reads “The official merch sold out. This is a bootleg.”
The Bootlet N.E.R.D. T-shirt is available online here for $30 USD.
