Over the weekend, Complex held their second annual ComplexCon, a place where pop culture and the people are at one with each other. It’s a half shopping, half musical experience, with artists taking the stage and brand dropping merch exclusive to the show.
Adidas introduced the N.E.R.D. collaboration with Pharrell, Puma introduced their new Suede Clyde with Big Sean, and Nike even dropped a couple rare pairs of the Air Force 1, in honor of its 35th anniversary.
We were fortunate enough to attend the press preview, where Marc Ecko himself graced us with an exclusive introduction and a V.I.P. tour of the ComplexCon floor almost two hours before anybody was allowed in. He was joined by Takashi Murakami, the artist behind the design identity for ComplexCon.
Among the floor grounds were a handful of celebrities wandering around taking it all in, making surprise appearances at a specific booth or doing some shopping themselves. We spotted the likes of Jaden Smith, Cam’ron, Pusha-T, André 3000, Usher, Michael B. Jordan, and Usher are just to name a few.
Dave East stopped by the Puma booth to talk about his new partnership with the lifestyle brand. Over at the Fools Gold Records x Four Loko DAY OFF booth, Migos stopped by to give away two solid gold Four Loko pendants, valued at $10,000 each, while Riff Raff stopped by to spin the gift wheel for some lucky fans and handed out exclusive merch.
