Nicki Minaj took to Twitter on Halloween night (Oct. 31) to address her latest guest verse on Migos’ new single, “MotorSport”, which also features rumored Nicki rival, Cardi B.

After tweeting about her collaboration with H&M for their holiday campaign, she returned to Twitter to set the record straight about the record and how it came to be. “I was on the song w/Quavo. No one else was on it. He called & asked if I think we should put Bardi on it, I said ‘ok let’s do it’. The end,” Nicki tweeted, instantly shutting down rumors and speculation that has been buzzing since the song’s release.

She continued her mini rant, sharing that the song was not even a “Migos” song, but instead, a Quavo track, while also reminding everyone that anything her name appears on needs her final approval before seeing the light of day.

“The conspiracy theories r just so tired. Relax. Breathe. Imagine me not knowing who on a song w/me,” Minaj continued. “Anything w/my name on it gets approved by me. It can’t even go on a streaming service w/o me hearing it & giving written approval.”

Before deading the topic, Nicki quoted a tweet from Complex tweet that featured a Cardi B interview where she said that even if she and Nicki Minaj were to make out, people would still find a way to pit them against each other and not be satisfied. She agreed, adding a laughing emoji.
