Sony has teamed up with long-time collaborator Hori to produce a new and officially licensed controller for the PS4… and its mini.
The Mini Wired Gamepad is 40% smaller than the traditional Dualshock 4 and sports a minimalist design, as shown above in this blue colorway.
The new controller features the same basic features as the original, including right and left joysticks, R1/L1 and R2/L2 buttons, direction buttons and four action buttons. However, it doesn’t include the stereo headset jack, speaker, dual motors and motion sensor. It isn’t wireless either. Instead, it comes with a 10-foot cable.
The Sony Mini Wired Gamepad is expected to launch in the U.S. and Canada during the holiday season for $29.99 USD.
