Artists have said it for years. Stay away for major labels.

With that said, superproducer Metro Boomin has called out a label he’s had issues. Specifically, Atlantic Records.

Despite successful partnerships with Gucci Mane, Lil Uzi Vert, Kodak Black, and most recently Cardi B, the producer took to social media to call out the label over alleged unethical business practices.

Metro Boomin called out the label’s APG (Artist Publishing Group) division and its head, Mike Caren. He called them “VULTURES” and said they “play by their own rules.”

Despite putting Atlantic on blast, he clarified that other executives he’s worked with at the label were a pleasure to deal with, but Caren… not so much.
