Post Malone has dethroned Cardi B on the Billboard Hot 100 this week, topping the chart with his hit single “Rockstar”.

His new single, which also features 21 Savage, is his first No. 1, after previously peaking at No. 8 with “Congratulations”. It’s 21’s first chart-topper as well, following his previous best of No. 12 with “Bank Account.”

Post Malone’s feat is a major win for hip-hop as well, marking the fifth song within the genre to top the Hot 100 this year, following Cardi’s “Bodak Yellow”, DJ Khaled’s “I’m the One”, Kendrick Lamar’s “HUMBLE.”, and Migos’ “Bad and Boujee” — all being the respective artist’s first Hot 100 No. 1.

This last time this many hip-hop songs topped the chart was in 2006, when D4L’s “Laffy Taffy”, Nelly’s “Grillz”, Sean Paul’s “Temperature”, Chamillionaire’s “Ridin’”, and Ludacris’ “Money Maker” all hit No. 1.

Behind Post’s “Rockstar”, Cardi B drops to No. 2, and Logic’s “1-800-273-8255” lands at No. 3.
