Bobby Shmurda has been incarcerated since 2014, and during that time, we haven’t seen much of the young artist.

This week, however, images from recent visitations have surfaced of the Brooklyn rapper that show how much he’s grown over the past few years.

Its unclear who visited Shmurda, but one photo finds him crouching down with another man, while in another, he’s smiling with his arm placed around an older woman.

Just 19 when he first came on the scene with his breakout hit “Hot N*gga”, Shmurda is now 23 years old… and is apparently using his free time to do pushups, because he looks like he’s bulked up a bit.

Last year, the rapper (born Ackquille Jean Pollard) was sentenced to seven years in prison after pleading guilty to 4th-degree conspiracy to criminally possess a weapon and 2nd-degree criminal weapons possession. “I was forced to take this sentence, I did not want to take this sentence,” Shmurda told the court at the time. “I was forced by my attorney to take this plea.”

With time served, Shmurda could be out in four years.
