In early September, Lonzo Ball made a very bold statement when he said that Nas was irrelevant among today’s hip-hop generation. He even followed that by saying “real hip-hop” is now acts like Migos and Future.
Despite the backlash he received, Ball continues to take subtle shots at the hip-hop legend.
On Instagram this week, Lonzo posted a photo of him and his crew, which includes Lakers teammate Brandon Ingram and his manager Darren Moore. However, at closer inspection, Moore is rocking a tee that appears to troll Nas.
The T-shirt is a Photoshopped version of Nas’s 1996 album, It Was Written. Instead of Nas, the cover features a portrait shot of Lonzo instead. It also says “Zo” in the corner, replacing a “NAS” logo.
