Netflix users, get ready to open your wallets, because the streaming service is raising its prices again.
According to Variety, the company has raised its monthly subscription plan by 10 percent.
Netflix’s two-stream HD plan will now cost $10.99 USD per month for new subscribers, up $1 USD from its previous $9.99 monthly cost.
The new rate is for new subscribers, while customers will be moved to the new rate over the next several months.
Furthermore, Netflix has increased the monthly fee for its four-stream “family plan”, from $11.99 to $13.99 per month. Called its “premium” tier, it also includes select content in Ultra HD 4K format.
The report says that news of the price increase has pushed Netflix’s stock to a new all-time high, peaking at $192.80 per share in Thursday morning trading.
