This Sunday’s NFL games resulted in some injuries, including a serious one for New York Giants star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.
OBJ suffered a fractured left ankle on Sunday after landing awkwardly on his foot while trying to make a catch in the fourth quarter of the team’s 27-22 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. He needed immediately assistant and left the field.
Well, he’s scheduled to undergo surgery and will miss the remainder of the season.
Beckham left the field in tears, with a towel over his face in pain. He had five catches for 97 yards and a touchdown against the Chargers, and will end the season with 25 catches, 302 yards and three touchdowns.
It will be the first time in his four professional seasons that Beckham didn’t reach at least 90 catches, 1,300 yards and 10 touchdowns.
