Comedian Ralphie May Dies After Suffering Heart Attack

Comedian Ralphie May died on Friday (Oct. 6), after suffering a heart attack. He was just 45 years old.

According to TMZ, he died at his private residence in Las Vegas Friday morning.

Ralphie he had been been battling pneumonia over the last week, but kept performing scheduled gigs in Las Vegas. In fact, he performed at Harrah's in Vegas on Thursday night (Oct. 5).

He is survived by his wife, comedian Lahna Turner, and their two children, daughter April June May and son August James May.

Ralphie caught his big break in his career in 2003 when he finished second on the first season of Last Comic Standing. After the show, he released a number of stand-up specials, including 2015′s Ralphie May: Unruly on Netflix.
