More than three years after dropping her breakout hit “Fancy”, Iggy Azalea’s follow-up album Digital Distortion is still delayed. While her music career appears to be at a standstill, maybe her finances are as well.
According to TMZ, Iggy has been sued American Express for an unpaid balance of more than $300,000.
The credit card company is taking the rapper to court over the balance, which previously had a limit of $250,000.
AMEX is seeking payment of the full amount, as well as legal fees.
The news is just the latest in a trying year for Iggy, who has voiced her frustrations over her long-delayed album Digital Distortion.
After releasing the singles “Mo Bounce”, “Switch”, and “Can’t Lose” with Lil Uzi Vert, Digital Distortion has yet to see a release date.
