Rising Florida rapper Smokepurpp has reportedly signed with Travis Scott's Cactus Jack Records.

On Friday (Sept. 29), footage surfaced of the two rappers Facetiming and in the process revealing the new deal.

XXL posted a video on social media, which Smokepurpp later confirmed it by retweeting their tweet. "Bruh you wanna know whats funny too? From the first day ... I told him bro I wanna end up at Cactus Jack," Purpp says to Travis, who then said "pick up that chain n*gga."

The chain they are referring to is one of nine Cactus Jack chains Scott had made by jeweler Elliott Avianne for $500,000.

In addition to the new deal with Scott's Cactus Jack label, Smokepurp has also released his latest project, titled DEADSTAR.

It features 13 new tracks, with guest appearances from D.R.A.M., Chief Keef, Yo Gotti and Juicy J. Unfortunately, Scott does not make an appearance. On the beats, Purpp tapped Harry Fraud, Nova, Ice Bream, and Ronny J.
