Following news that Yo Gotti has been named a person of interest in Young Dolph’s recent shooting, one man has been arrested.
According to the LA Times, 43-year-old Corey McClendon was arrested near where the shooting took place: Highland Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard; and been booked on suspicion of attempted murder, an LAPD spokeswoman said
However, as of press time, it was unclear if McClendon was the actual shooter.
As previously reported, Memphis rapper Young Dolph was shot multiple times following an argument with three men (said the report) outside the Loews Hollywood Hotel.
The rapper ran away and into a nearby Shoe Palace, where an ambulance was called and he was ultimately rushed to a nearby hospital, where he remains in critical, but stable, condition.
While details of the incident were unclear, TMZ reports that Yo Gotti’s crew was involved. LAPD spokesperson said that was inaccurate, because they are uncertain if the men were connected to Gotti at all.
Gotti’s entourage was staying at the Loews Hollywood Hotel.
