Japanese automaker Subaru unveils this new limited edition version of the WRX STI, which it will debut at the Tokyo Motor Show.

Dubbed the S208, the new car features a carbon-fiber roof, shedding weight over the standard edition, as well as horsepower, which has yet to be divulged.

Subaru says the S208 will get “improved engine output” over the S207. With that said, the S207 got 323 horsepower over the standard STI’s 305 hp rating. With that said, the S208 should get a boost over the WRX STI Type RA, which boasts 310 hp.

The previous S207 featured Subaru’s 2.0-liter turbocharged flat-4 engine instead of the turbocharged 2.5-liter flat-4 found in the Type RA.

Just 450 units of the Subaru WRX STI S208 will be produced and will be exclusive to Japan.
