Post Malone is emerging as one of hip-hop’s biggest stars, as his newest single “Rockstars” debuts high atop the Billboard Hot 100 and breaks Apple Music’s streaming record.

However, just five short years ago, the Texas artist was trying to make his bones by playing in a band as a 17-year-old.

His band was called Love In Colors, and videos of a young Post playing at the Grapevine Main Street Fest in Texas has surfaced. In it, he showcases his music with the backing of a band.

Check out some other visuals of Post Malone before the game below. One features him covering Bob Dylan’s “Don’t Think Twice It’s All Right.”
