Writer Stephen King has released countless iconic stories throughout his career. Now, following the success of IT, we’re seeing more of them translated to film.

The latest is King’s 2010 novella, 1922, which we get a first look at in this trailer for Netflix.

Starring Thomas Jane and Molly Parker, the movie tells the story of a farmer whose wife wants their family to move to the city. But, after he refuses and they can’t come to an agreement, the farmer conspires to kill her with his son. Before long, he is haunted by her ghost and an infestation of rats. YUCK!

Stephen King’s 1922 hits Netflix on October 20, just in time for Halloween.
