After turning himself in on rape charges last month, rapper Mystikal has been officially indicted on one count of first-degree rape and one count of second-degree kidnapping.

According to local news station KSLA, the rapper (born Michael Lawrence Tyler) is being held on $3 million bail.

Mystikal turned himself into authorities in Shreveport, LA, last month, after a warrant was issued for his arrest in connection with an alleged incident that took place last October at a local casino.

At the time, he told local reports that he turned himself in “to get this business reconciled” and to “get this behind” him.

Mystikal is one of three people wanted in connection with the alleged rape. Details, however, are unclear.

Also indicted is 26-year-old Averweone Darnell Holman, who has been hit with one count each of first-degree rape and second-degree kidnapping, while a 42-year-old female named Tenichia Monieck has been charged with one count of obstruction of justice.

The rapper has denied the allegations, and will reportedly plead not guilty.

This is not the first time Mystikal has faced similar charges. In 2003, he pled guilty to sexual battery and extortion charges. He was sentenced to six years in prison and was released in 2010 and was required to register as a sex offender.
