You can’t make this stuff up. Kevin Durant recently bashed his former team and teammates on Twitter, but spoke in the third person. Huh?
Yep, it appears he may have just exposed the fact that he uses multiple and possibly other fake accounts to take on critics.
Apparently, the NBA star was responding to criticism on Twitter from a pair of followers, but forgot to switch to one of his fake accounts when he decided to take a few shots.
“Man I respect the hell outta you but give me one legitimate reason for leaving okc other than getting a championship,” a Twitter user said to KD.
“He didn’t like the organization or playing for Billy Donovan,” Durant strangely replied from his verified account. “His roster wasn’t that good, it was just him and russ.”
In a response to another Twitter use, KD wrote: “Imagine taking russ off that team, see how bad they were. Kd can’t win a championship with those cats.”
The tweets have since been deleted. Luckily, we have the screenshots above.
Durant has not explained the tweets either, but he could likely blame someone from his social media team. Whomp, whomp, whomp…
