Fresh off a massive payday from his megafight with Conor McGregor last month, Floyd Mayweather has spent a little bit of that money, purchasing a Beverly Hills mansion.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the boxing legend plopped down $25.5 million for the French-style home, which boasts a 15,000 sq. ft. main home on a bit more than a half acre lot.
The report says the home was built in 1992, but was renovated in 2015. In addition to the massive main home, the property also has a guesthouse with a gym, a 20-person theater, a staff suite and a four-car garage. Furthermore, we see a beautiful black-and-white striped decking that surrounds the swimming pool and pool house.
Inside, there’s a row of 10 French doors that open from the living room to the grounds, massive chandeliers, a chef’s kitchen, and a cocktail bar with a glass-enclosed wine cellar. Most areas of the home are done in white, but the library/den is finished in black wood cabinetry.
$25 million is a lot, but not for Mayweather. He is set to earn at least $100 million from his fight with McGregor, and that’s just his guaranteed purse. Adding his cut of the ticket sales and pay-per-view revenue, he is expected to take home more than $250 million.
Throughout his career, the boxer has earned nearly $1 billion in career earnings, as well as a 50-0 record.
