OKC Thunder star Russell Westbrook has inked a 10-year contract extension with Nike’s Jordan Brand.
Reports said Russ’ new deal is the most lucrative total endorsement deal for a Jordan athlete to date.
The reigning MVP first signed with Jordan in 2013 on a five-year deal, where he gradually became one of the faces of the brand and got his own shoe. At the same time, he became the franchise point guard for the Thunder.
With the extension, Westbrook will remain with Jordan through the 2025-26 NBA season. Via the deal, he will get to design both on- and off-court signature sneakers, after previously introducing a lifestyle silhouette for off-court style — the Westbrook 0 and Westbrook 0.2.
Terms of Westbrook’s new Jordan deal were unknown at press time.
Westbrook recently embarked on a multicity tour of China, with Westbrook again supporting the newest Air Jordan model: the Air Jordan 32.
