LeBron James offered a first look at his next Nike signature show this week, during the KITH Fashion Show. If you weren’t there, Nike teases the upcoming shoe with one image.
The LeBron 15 was designed by Jason Petrie, features an evolved Flyknit construction, alongside “an advanced cushioning system — both articulated for the greatest player in the world,” declares Nike.
“This is my favorite shoe to date,” James says of the shoe. “The performance benefits and sophisticated look make this shoe a force on and off the court.”
Unfortunately, we only get a glimpse of the back of the shoe, but its shown here with an upper almost entirely in black, with a hit of red on the inside tongue and a speckled white midsole and white outsole that is broken into four sections.
Nike says the LeBron 15 will feature next-gen Flyknit construction that provides stretch, a locked-in fit and durability. The sole features a fully articulated cushioning system that combines Max Air and Zoom Air units, while a full-bootie construction offers a secure, one-to-one fit.
“The number-one thing people should know about the LEBRON 15 is that this new Nike Flyknit is something that’s never been done in a performance shoe,” says James. “It looks great, too. Since Jason and I started working on the LEBRON VII, we have always talked about how we not only want to have the top, top, top notch in performance, we want style, as well. We have a desire to create shoes that makes all people feel good when they put it on.”
