Although he’s preparing for his NBA rookie season, Lonzo Ball continues to flex his other talent: rapping.

After making his debut on a track in May, where he remixed Drake’s “Free Smoke”, Lonzo has returned with his debut rap single, “Melo Ball 1”.

The two-minute track pays tribute to Lonzo’s younger brother, LaMelo, who recently became the first high school player to have his own signature shoe, dubbed the Melo Ball 1, via the family’s Big Baller Brand.

“On the ball, that’s just what it is. I’m a king, lil’ bro a prince / Throwin’ racks and you throwin’ fits / How you hatin’ and you bangin’ this?” he raps on the track.

Poised to become a focal point of the Los Angeles Lakers team, it’s unclear if Lonzo plans to take music seriously moving forward. Stay tuned…
