Casio G-Shock introduced this new “Big Bang Black” collection this week, in celebration of the brand’s upcoming 35th anniversary.
The drop is comprised of four existing G-Shock models in this newly developed, matte-black finish, including the GW500, GG1000, GA700 and GA100, as well as a brand new model: the GA800.
Each watch will boast a gold IP band keeper with the words “SINCE 1983” and gold IP case back with the G-SHOCK 35th Anniversary logo engraved on it.
And, as with most G-Shock releases, they will feature a number of techologies, including a mud-resistant structure, the brand’s twin-sensor technology of a digital compass and thermometer, as well as a five year battery and a hand retract function to name a few.
The G-Shock GW5035A-1, GG1035A-1A and GA735A-1A will retail for $350, $370 and $140, respectively, at select retailers and ShopCasio.com. The GA135A-1A and GA835A-1A will retail for $160 beginning in October, exclusively at the G-SHOCK Soho Store.
